Educational assessment packages to determine learning profiles of primary school-aged children. After a parent intake session of $360.80, we charge a fee of $2639.20 for a full battery of testing including intelligence and achievement-based testing and functional behaviour, a comprehensive report and feedback session for parents/carers.
Other psychological assessment packages to determine conditions such as ADHD or Autism are available. After a parent intake session of $360.80, we charge a fee starting at $1639.20 for a full battery of testing that may include social, emotional and behavioural assessments, including a comprehensive report and a feedback session for parents/carers. Please note: for some organisations and funding bodies, a diagnosis of Autism in Australia would need to be endorsed by a pediatrician, child psychiatrist or a team of allied health professionals (including a psychologist). If your child has a speech pathologist or occupational therapist, their reports, together with the assessments and report from a psychologist, should be enough evidence for most orgnisations and funding bodies. If you get a referral from your child's paediatrician, then some medicare rebates may be available. Other options are to talk to your GP, or communicate with Bushkids https://www.bushkids.org.au or Carers Qld https://carersqld.com.au/ndis/what-is-the-ndis/ before booking in for these assessments.
