At Light Up Psychology, we are passionate about giving everyone the space they need to communicate. As we specialise in working with young people we are passionate about combining therapy and play.
At Light Up Psychology, we work collaboratively with families to support social, emotional, learning and wellbeing aspirations and goals.
Children naturally sparkle and shine but sometimes the pressure of fitting in or expectations of who they should be, how, what and when they should learn, the ‘right’ way to be or do things puts a damper on that light.
If you are an adult who wants to get your sparkle back, we're here for that too.
At Light Up Psychology, we aim to support people back to loving who they are in their own unique and amazing way – and can’t wait to see them again Light Up.
At Light Up Psychology, we advocate for families. We want to work closely with you and encourage regular parent/carer appointments while working with our young clients. These sessions may include parent/carer feedback and concerns, psychoeducation, strategies, and skill building and general parenting support. Everyone says it takes a village, we aim to become a part of your village to support you and your young person. We may recommend linking us with your child’s education providers or other professionals. We take a collaborative approach to support your young person across home, school, and throughout the community to ensure effective therapeutic intervention.
